The company ICP was founded in 1994 and deals with the development of software technologies, products and solutions.

Responsibility, quality, excellence and belonging are the basic corporate values from which the ICP company is based in all its activities.

The good name of ICP, the trust of customers and employees are its most important currency in the business environment. The ICP company respects the laws and generally accepted rules of economic competition and claims social and moral responsibility for all its business actions.

The ICP company is aware that the high quality of the provided services also includes ethics. As an expression of responsibility for ethical development in the company, it decided to adopt a code of ethics, which is binding for all its workers and all persons acting on behalf of ICP, regardless of the form of employment or partnership.

The ICP company thus joins those companies that have decided to actively contribute to the cultivation of the social and business climate in Slovakia through the code of ethics.

The ICP Code of Ethics is the commitment of the company as a whole and each of its employees in particular to honesty, decency, responsibility towards the public, business partners, competitors, customers as well as towards each other.

1. Purpose of the ICP Code of Ethics

1.1 ICP's Code of Ethics is an official corporate document of strategic importance. It represents a summary of the required ethical principles, rules and standards that are binding for everyone in our society.

1.2 The goal of the ICP Code of Ethics is to establish an ethical framework in which all company employees and all those who act on its behalf should operate.

1.3 The Code of Ethics fulfills several functions:

a) regulates the behavior of workers,

b) helps to avoid illegal and immoral actions,

c) teaches to reflect on one's own moral behavior and the behavior of other people,

d) develops moral reasoning,

e) provides everyone in the company with a guarantee that others must treat them in accordance with the established moral standard,

f) helps resolve conflicting moral situations at the workplace,

g) is a guarantee for customers, business partners and the public that our company cares about ethical behavior and is a reliable partner.

1.4 A person's moral behavior can change both in a negative and positive direction. Therefore, it is necessary to create such a social environment that promotes a higher moral standard of people's behavior in the workplace. ICP 's code of ethics is a tool that actively supports the ethical behavior of all its employees and all persons acting on behalf of ICP, regardless of the form of employment or partnership.

1.5 ICP's code of ethics is based on the ethical principles of respect for human dignity, honesty, tolerance, responsibility, duty and justice. It is based on the idea that the quality of personal and working life depends on the quality of morality in which a person lives.

2. General Commitment of ICP

2.1 The ICP company applies all its creative abilities so that it can fulfill the purpose for which it was created in the best possible way - developing system software for real-time applications that will contribute to increasing the competitiveness of the companies that use them.

2.2 The ICP company adheres to the theory of corporate social responsibility and accepts responsibility for its actions in relation to all stakeholders , i.e. to the groups that its activities influence and which in turn influence its activities.

2.3 In its business activities, ICP undertakes to respect the laws of the Slovak Republic and the EU, to comply with the rules of economic competition, not to support corruption, to behave in accordance with good morals and to contribute to the creation of social good.

2.4 ICP sees environmental protection as a value and supports a way of doing business that is in line with the concept of sustainable development.

2.5 ICP does not financially or otherwise support any political parties and movements.

2.6 The ICP company is aware that it is also a part of social events and therefore feels the need to share the results of its successes in the form of sponsorship. Sponsorship activities are mainly aimed at supporting the education of young people and supporting those who are dependent on the help of others.

3. ICP's commitment to customers

3.1 The ICP company is aware of the key place of satisfied customers in its business activities, therefore its vision - to create solutions that, with the use of progressive information technologies, contribute to increasing the strategic position of the customer - is based on customer care. ICP enjoys the success of its customers and is proud to participate in them through its products.

3.2 ICP undertakes to provide its customers with products and services that are in accordance with the latest scientific, technological and technical knowledge in the field of production information systems. He considers the excellence of products and responsibility, reliability, decency and honesty in business dealings to be the basic pillars of cooperation with his customers.

3.3 ICP is customer-oriented and realizes that its economic situation and further development clearly depend on customer satisfaction with its products and services. It commits itself to such behavior that, within the limits of the law and good morals, leads to success and customer satisfaction.

3.4 If, for some reason, the ICP company cannot fulfill the customer's wish or meet the deadline, it immediately informs the customer of this fact and seeks a solution that is optimal for both parties.

3.5 ICP informs about the company's products and services truthfully, objectively and as clearly as possible. In no case does it take advantage of the disadvantage of the customer, who often does not have adequate or the latest scientific knowledge in the field of information technology.

3.6 Every customer of ICP can rely on its discretion in protecting the information it receives about its activities. He considers this information confidential. Every employee of the ICP company protects information, maintains trade secrets in relation to the customer and ensures that this information is not misused.

3.7 The ICP company does not damage the customer's reputation and property.

4. Commitment to business partners

4.1 Correct partner relations are very important for the ICP company. Since high quality is an essential characteristic of all its products, it cooperates only with those business partners and training centers that offer top components and solutions for ICP products.

4.2 ICP undertakes to be an honest, reliable and trustworthy partner for all with whom it comes into business contact in the course of business activities.

4.3 ICP undertakes to provide business partners with true information about its economic status and requires such information from its partners as well. He considers the information obtained in this way to be confidential, their publication, or the method of publication is based on an agreement with partners in full respect of applicable laws.

4.4 ICP undertakes to comply with all obligations resulting from concluded business contracts. If for some unexpected serious reasons it could not fulfill its obligations, it will immediately inform its partners and look for a solution that is acceptable to all parties involved.

5. Commitment to competition

5.1 ICP considers competing companies as equal professional partners and economic competition as a natural part of business. It respects and supports fair competition rules and does not engage in unfair practices. In the domestic and foreign markets, it basically asserts itself only with the high quality of its products.

5.2 ICP cares about the good name of the IT community. It supports fair competition, the exchange of knowledge and experience, and coordination in solving common industry problems.

5.3 ICP does not obtain information about competitors in an illegal or unethical manner.

6. ICP's commitment to workers

6.1 The management of ICP is quite clearly and distinctly aware that the essence of its business lies in the people who work in it. Creative people with extensive experience and knowledge in the relevant professional field, personality qualities and personal ambitions that are in line with the company's vision and mission are the greatest asset of ICP.

6.2 ICP takes care to create optimal social conditions for its employees, a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere for highly qualified and creative work.

6.3 ICP comprehensively supports the professional growth of workers, which should be in line with the needs of its growth, in order to create a unique team of highly qualified experts in the field of production information systems for industrial practice.

6.4 ICP undertakes to comply with the Labor Code and all legal measures governing labor relations

6.5 ICP shall not discriminate in the recruitment, training, evaluation and release of workers.

6.6 The ICP company complies with all legal standards and directives related to the health and safety of workers. At the same time, it requires all its workers to respect all regulations regarding occupational safety at their workplace, as well as at the workplace of customers and business partners.

6.7 At ICP, there is zero tolerance for the use of alcohol at the workplace or before starting work and for the use of narcotic substances in general.

6.8 The ICP company accepts the right of workers to be a member of trade unions and employee organizations and creates space for effective negotiation on issues related to the interests of workers.

6.9 ICP undertakes to inform employees about its business plans in a timely and truthful manner, so that everyone knows about the company's intentions and goals and can identify with them.

6.10 The ICP company guarantees protection to the employee who reports illegal or unethical events in the company to the company authorities.

6.11 The ICP company does not prevent the political engagement of its employees. However, he considers it to be their private activity, which they cannot engage in either during working hours or on the premises of the ICP company.

7. Obligations of workers to ICP

7.1 The basic starting point for the communication of all ICP employees is mutual respect, respect for human rights and refraining from any form of discrimination. Responsibility, decency and tolerance characterize the behavior of every member of the company.

7.2 All ICP employees participate in creating an atmosphere of openness, collegiality and belonging. In case of conflicts or any misunderstandings, everyone is required to be helpful and willing to participate in finding a solution to the situation.

7.3 ICP seeks the loyalty of its employees. Loyalty to the company, however, does not exclude a critical attitude towards the happenings in the company. However, criticism is constructive and objective, it should be presented in a cultured manner so as not to dishonor another person or group of people.

7.4 Every employee who has information and knowledge that is professionally connected to the company's activities is obliged to share it with other colleagues. Concealing information obtained at training courses paid by the company is inadmissible.

7.5 Every employee of the ICP company acts not only as a private person, but also as a representative of the company, therefore he cares about its good name. In public, it only provides information about the company that is normally accessible.

7.6 All ICP employees maintain confidentiality with regard to internal information of the company that they obtain during their employment. This information is considered confidential.

7.7 Every employee of ICP protects the intellectual and material property of the company. He uses the tangible and intangible assets of the company exclusively for work purposes. Company property may be used for private purposes only with the knowledge and consent of a superior employee, or in accordance with the company's internal guidelines.

7.8 The ICP company is scrupulous about respecting the law and ethics in the field of information technology, therefore its employees can only use legally purchased software in their work.

7.9 No employee of ICP may offer or accept a bribe. Such behavior that would go against the interests of the company must be avoided. As part of forming and maintaining friendly relations with partner organizations, employees can give or accept a gift, but it must not be binding for any party.

7.10 Each employee of ICP acts in his private life in such a way as to avoid a conflict of interest. A conflict of interests is understood as any situation where the employee's personal interests threaten the fulfillment of his obligations to the company or the interests of the company. When an employee is not sure whether he or one of his closest relatives has created a basis for a conflict of his personal and work interests with his business activity, he should contact his superior as soon as possible and seek a way out of the situation.

8. Corruption

We comply with the international anti-corruption standards set forth in the United Nations Global initiative Compact and national anti-corruption regulations. It is inadmissible for our associates or business partners to demand, accept, offer, promise or give bribes.

We consider a bribe to be anything that is intended to influence persons who have decision-making authority or their family members, with the aim of building, maintaining or securing for themselves, the company, or their family members for unauthorized use. Bribes can take the form of money or other benefits (disproportionate gifts, foreign trips or pretend conferences with reimbursement of expenses, paid counter-services of various nature, contributions for political purposes, etc.).

9. Prevention of criminal activity

In any case, ICP tries to prevent criminal liability. In connection with this, all co-workers are obliged to act in accordance with legal regulations in such a way as to prevent criminal activity by natural persons, which could be, according to § 8 of Act no. 418/2011 Coll ., on criminal liability of legal entities and proceedings against them, as amended.

In the event that you receive an instruction from your superior about which you have reasonable doubts, assess such instruction from the point of view of compliance with legal regulations or with this code of ethics. If he cooperates with the opinion that in the case of driving with instructions he could commit an illegal act, he reports this fact to the ethics line.

In the event that pressure is exerted on a colleague to act contrary to legal regulations or internal regulations, or even to the instructions of his superior, he is obliged to refuse such action and subsequently report this fact to the ethics line.

As long as you cooperate on the basis of your own decision within the framework of the fulfillment of work duties, he commits criminal activity, this is a violation of the legal regulations of the co-worker, not the company.

10. Political involvement

The ICP does not make financial or other contributions or make any recommendations, directly or indirectly for the benefit of political parties, committees or individual politicians. Employees
may not make any political contributions on behalf of ICP or through
company funds or funds. ICP only provides donations and sponsorships that
do not violate the rules of fair competition.

11. Bindingness of the code of ethics

11.1 All employees of ICP and all persons who act on behalf of ICP, regardless of the form of employment or partnership, are obliged to behave in accordance with the Code of Ethics of ICP.

11.2 It is recommended that anyone who is not sure whether a certain action would violate the Code of Ethics of the ICP company should contact their direct supervisor or a person in charge of ethical issues in the company for advice.

11.3 It is recommended that anyone who knows of a violation of ICP's Code of Ethics or believes that a certain action will result in a violation of the Code of Ethics to inform their immediate supervisor or the person entrusted with handling ethical issues.

11.4 Information about a violation of ICP's Code of Ethics can be submitted in any way. For the purpose of reporting a violation of ICP's Code of Ethics, a box is specially set up, which is located in the company's premises.

11.5 ICP undertakes to protect anyone who reports a violation of ICP's Code of Ethics and guarantees that the worker in question will not be sanctioned for this report.

11.6 Violation of ICP's Code of Ethics is sanctioned by adequate moral means.

11.7 Serious violations of ICP's Code of Ethics may be considered gross violations of work discipline and will result in adequate consequences in accordance with the Labor Code, including dismissal from work.

11.8 Some violations of ICP's Code of Ethics do not exclude the action of law enforcement authorities in accordance with the Criminal Code and the Code of Criminal Procedure.

11.9 ICP's Code of Ethics does not and cannot contain all prohibitions, rules or regulations. In case of any misunderstandings about individual provisions of the ICP Code of Ethics or interest in improving or updating the ICP Code of Ethics, employees can contact the person in charge of solving ethical issues.

The ICP Code of Ethics comes into force on 01/01/2024.
